as a medical transcriptionist to correct mistakes such as this. Good grief, the way they butcher medications when dictating is ridiculous enough. No one would say, "He dictated metoprobol but you changed to metoprolol, so that is a point off of your score." That would be insane. Some common sense is required in this job also, meaning sometimes the person dictating has marbles in their mouth, but we know what they want.
