Carpal tunnel computer gloves? - Prevention before cure

I use the mouse far more than I should, especially with VR, and I also tend to rest my wrists on the keyboard wrist rest while I'm listening rather than hovering them in the air (I don't type with my wrists down, though).

I need to replace my Softflex gloves and found this post from back in 2017.  Just wondering if anyone has tried the Mouse Mitts or any other gloves or braces and can give a review?  From their website, it looks like the Mouse Mitts have a solid piece of foam instead of the two strips on the Softlex?
