Just asking works best. - gw

I just finished a job search. My method was to go to the websites of transcription companies, (a) get their contact e-mail, and write to ask if they were hiring, or (b) get directed to a place where I could fill out an online application.

I got replies from about 50% of the places I contacted, and from what I found, very few transcription companies are not in "always hiring mode".

It isn't a current list, but the list at http://mymt.me/companies/ contains a large list of transcription companies that you can look through. Also, you can scroll through the Company Board on this site and see what transcription companies are getting a mention.

Like I said: Just operate on the assumption that all transcription companies are looking for transcriptionists, but aren't bothering to advertise anywhere at all, and you'll be okay.
