The best way to remember or quickly troubleshoot I vs me is this:
Take the other person out of the equation. For example, Correct is "Jane and I went to the store." Correct is "Jane came to the store with me and Sally."
Now, would you say "me went to the store?" No, you would not. Would you say Jane went to the store with I? No, you would not.
When posting a picture of who is in it, would you say "This is I?" No, you would not.
You actually really know this stuff, you just don't know you know it. The trick above helps.
