Don’t let them do that to you. After a lay-off, you are under no obligation to go to work for the MTSO. You obviously can’t draw unemployment if you have a job, but file a claim and look for something else, preferably not in transcription. You probably qualify for job retraining because your position was eliminated. It’s an easy out for employers because it gets them off the hook, but they can’t make you do anything you don’t want to do.
