Seeking Remote Quality Assurance Reviewers - QA

Posted: Dec 12th, 2018 - 9:34 pm

We are seeking individuals with experience to perform quality assurance of medical reports.  These reports are delivered to the Quality Assurance Reviewer (QAR) via secure web portal.

The QAR will receive documentation that contains the report, documents the provide the reason for referral, explanation what is needed from the examination and questions that need to be answered by the medical doctor.

The QAR will review the medical report to ensure that the issues to be resolved have been addressed appropriately by the physician.  For example, if the claimant is referred because of a sprain/strain of the lower back and neck, we expect that the doctor will address these body parts in the history of present illness, physical examination, diagnoses and in the question and answer section.

QAR will make grammatical and simple language adjustments.  Medical content will not be edited by QAR, but a document will be prepared to be addressed by the doctor.

The interested person(s) needs to have sufficient medical knowledge to review multi-specialty medical reports.  CES, Inc. has cases in multiple specialties, including mental health.  Examples of most-used specialties include orthopaedics, physical medicine, occupational medicine, psychiatry and psychology.

QARs will communicate directly with doctors via phone, email, web portal or fax.  All reports will be reviewed and edited in MS Word in its most current version. QAR will follow up with doctor until report is finalized.

QAR will also be able to convert from MS Word to PDF and have the ability to merge documents.  CES, Inc. will NOT train in these technology platforms.  CES, Inc. will not provide the software.

Interested parties need not have previous exprience in what was described above.  However, they MUST have experience in technology, medical terminology and language and communication skills to be able to succeed.

Please submit your resume for review.  At the present time, we are contemplating paying $10 per reviewed report.  At the present time, our in-house experienced QARs are reviewing 2-3 reports per hour.  Editing of reports after doctor has made changes can take as little as 5 minutes.
