are only temporary and they go up each year until you are age 66, at least in my state, and then you can work as much as you want to. Yes, early retirement gives you a lower income and stays that way forever. It does not increase again when you reach 65 or 66, whichever your state recognizes, so you have to take that into consideration, as well.
