If it's paper check, sadly, you need to ask the owner exactly when that check is mailed and then pray there are no delays.
If it's direct deposit, you also need to ask when the deposit is scheduled and check with your bank as to their way of doing things, if any delays or time for funds to clear.
If at all possible, GTHO of MT. This profession is not at all trustworthy anymore, especially if you're just barely making it.
