Every word of your excellent post is 100% correct. Would like to add also that in addition to the reams of multiple account instructions MTs are expected to absorb, these instructions (along with supervisors' instructions) are often vague and contradictory about what is required to go to QA, and as every experienced MT knows, questions/requests for clarification often are ignored. Thanks for your post, which calls out the condescending and (undeserved) haughty attitude of many QA who unfortunately all too often seem to be legends in their own minds.
