At my company, QA is paid for the full report even though all they do is fill in a blank.
Imagine getting paid for someone else's work for simply filling in a blank. They aren't required to read the entire report.
No wonder MTs aren't making any money having to pay double for some reports, and QA getting paid for a full report for doing next to nothing.
This week's QA mistakes: Changing Walmart to Wal-Mart. Changing crepitance to crepitus (BOS allows crepitance now).
QA is the one who needs to research!
