MTs. They think editing is so simple that it doesn't take experience.
Wait until the audits come out that show what little a new MT knows.
Editing allows for complacency in my opinion. A new MT will not know if something is right or wrong, and, in an effort to make money, will speed along allowing a lot of errors.
I see more and more ads that are willing to hire new MTs. This low pay environment is forcing experienced MTs to find better jobs with benefits, leaving only new MTs to man the show and, I imagine, more QA positions to be filled to train the new MTs.
This industry is a mess!
