MM seems to be branching out, if you can believe what Inner Circle mentions about the company providing other types of services with their platform Fluency, some not even related to transcription at all. It mentions that they're also looking into doing business with smaller clinics. So, while they may not need as many MTs as before, I don't think they're worried about going under any time soon. They'll probably continue to gobble up smaller MTSOs, small clinics, and offer mostly IC positions. Whether they succeed in getting back even a fraction of their workforce for such meager wages paid to ICs after putting everyone through the wringer as former employees, I guess that will remain to be seen...
