Pay is slightly more than working as an IC. Hours are dependent upon company needs and manager. You'll be asked to change your schedule every 3 months to be flexible to MM needs. You may be scheduled for 40 hours, but you won't have more than an hour a day of work, possibly less. If you are scheduled for 40 hours, you'll need to make up your scheduled hours on your own time. They don't care if you have to work in the middle off the night or if you miss your kids' baseball games and dance recitals. OT hasn't been approved in over a year.
Don't believe me? Read the posts on this board. Think I'm too angry? You would be too if you haven't worked more than 2 hours of a scheduled shift since December and somebody on a board just told you they were thinking about working for your company, taking away more work from you.
