I recently had another company (not MT) send an offer letter and contract that stated I was not to moonlight for anyone but them. Now, I could see if they didn't want me working with a competitor/conflict of interest, whatever, but I'm to work exclusively for them? Then, they turn around and tell you that they can't guarantee the number of hours you'll get in a pay period. No ma'am. I have bills to pay and mouths to feed and as long as I'm freelance, no company is going to tell me who I can and can't work for on the side. Make me an employee and pay me a steady wage. "Cause if you liked it, then you shoulda put a ring on it..." LOL!
