But it's not a terrible problem for me. Annoying, yes, but not an impossible situation. I have employee status rather than IC, so get the benefits that go with that, and my paycheck isn't the only source of income for my household. I schedule bill payment for several days after what should be payday, so that's not a real biggie, and frankly I'd rather deal with the late paycheck thing than the crap that companies like Nuance dish out on a regular basis.
Again, your mileage may vary, but that's my personal experience.
