I thought the training was difficult and you were really put through the ringer and held to deadlines. Once I got my own provider, I ended up with a very good one, but I also have scribed for probably 5 others and I now have 2 providers, although the second is just 1 day a week. I usually average $15 an hour, and after being an MT since the early 1990s, I much prefer this. Fortunately, my lead is also an ex-MT and that makes a huge difference, as the ones who don't have the background really don't have a clue of the knowledge we bring with us.
