I have been through the interview mill lately at 58 -- and so blessed to get any interviews at all -- and I can say that getting as far as an interview at our age is HUGE. They know how old you are and are giving you a chance. Get that far and age is probably not an issue. They could be doing it to prove they don't discriminate, but don't dwell on that. Relax, breathe, pray, and be yourself. Know that once they talk to you, you become a human being and not a number. I got a very decent-paying job at 58 within a month of being dumped by MM, by a company who treats older workers really well, with a great corporate culture. It's really hard work, but so was MT:)
