If you don't log OOW even though there's no work you're not in schedule compliance. "working your schedule" was one of the stipulations in the "or you can be fired" paragraph in the e-mail they sent those of us who they kept on last layoff. Pretty sure if you don't log in OOW they will use that as a reason to fire you.
