I have Windows 7 and I have never tried to change the size of the side panels permanently. If no one else has a better suggestion, I'll try when I'm back to work tomorrow and see what happens. But when things stop working or start getting wonky in Fluency, sometimes I just reinstall it. U.S. IT always used to do that and it was amazing how many things it fixed, lol.
