Oh, we are told to keep checking 24/7 for work because we have to worry about TAT, and only to find no work. Doctors on call get at least $100.00 just for being 'on call.' Not working, not being there, just for being 'on call.' Then, if and when they do have to come in, they are given up to 2 hours, with pay, to get to the facility. Other hospital personnel get on-call pay also. Yet here we sit with NJA, but keep checking.
