I haven't heard anything about it. In fact, I had an issue with Word last week and support fixed it. They uninstalled my 2007 version and reinstalled it and since then it opens a lot faster than it did before when I opened edit script. Maybe he upgraded word? Not that it's his job, but he didn't say anything about not being able to use 2007 with ES in the future.
