In the employment ad there was a LONG list of required skills, all compatible with MT experience. Then you got to the end of the ad and the pay: Do not apply if you live in a high minimum wage state - $8.50/hr to start with the "possibility" of earning $10/hr. Unbelievable. A person posted here that she applied and was offered a job, but the hiring person explained that the pay is so low mainly because they do not consider this a career with advancement in pay potential - it is mostly designed to be staffed by med students or PA students as a sort of intern position. Not sure if that is true or not but it makes sense. Others have posted that it is a lot of work, odd schedules for the $$ paid. For example, one person said they might have a 12-hour window to complete their charts, but what if the doctor doesn't download the work until, say, midnight? There are probably situations where it works for some people if you get matched up with a good doc.
