Those were major things where a great portion of the population was on board. MT is hardly a great portion of the population. Nobody but MTs gives a dinghy.
If you somehow feel "empowered" by writing letters and signing online petitions (scary), go right ahead. But please reserve some energy for getting out of the business and stop giving people false hope.
Do your thing with the changing MT world, but get on with things and come back when it all (ahem) changes for the greater good.
