Did you work out a notice when you left? If not, were you penalized anything on your last check for not working one out? I have always worked out at least a 1 to 2-week notice anywhere I've worked but have a possible job opportunity and, if offered, would like to start it ASAP. If there is no penalty, I am tempted to work a very short notice.
