but this gig has been circling the drain for at least 10-15 years now. Used to be very lucrative until the corporations got hold of it and slowly & steadily trimmed our wages and benefits. Now, for the most part, it is a little better than minimum wage, although there are some who still make great wages. Corporations have sucked all the joy out of it with killer accuracy requirements, inconsistent QA, etc.
