am currently working for an MTSO. We have a client (Group of Radiology/Oncology Physicians and PAs) who was getting transcription done in India. I'm not exactly sure how long they were doing it that way, probably less than a year, but they were getting crappy work back, and turn-around time was 2 weeks. Now they are back with us because the shoddy transcription and turn-around time was not acceptable. Now they are getting accurate reports back no later than 24 hours, and in most cases it is less. Not needless to say, they are extremely happy again, even though they are paying more. You get what you pay for.
