In theory that sounds good, letting people know where they should improve. However, given the general level of hatred and incivility in American society these days, I think these scorecards too often are used to simply vent the writer's own frustration and peevishness. I imagine Whole Foods made the news because their customers include the kind of people who have enough influence to get stores into the media.
