Interesting yet - lengthy

article. The writer seems to understand the plight of the independent contractor, but the government seems to care less, saying they need more input from gathering information. They do not seem to be interested in finding a solution, yet companies like Nuance, continue to reap the benefits and we the contractors have less and less security, less pay, less benefits, and still required to work while being misclassified as contractors, but doing the work of an employee. Nuance stated that they still offer benefits and good compensation to those who work full time at a 32 hour a week job...however, it was not stated that very few of their workers are able to achieve a full time 32 hour a week position, due to over hiring and keeping workers at a part time level. The lies continue to roll down hill, and the government could care less. No body seems to want to find a solution... they just want more information, but other things are taking precedence over this monumental happening to the American worker. Article was quite enlightening.
