I have a couple of friends working at Proscript, and they hate it with every fiber of their being. They do not get paid for the usually extensive editing/searches/corrections needed in demographics, the Proscript platform apparently is crappy and it makes more dangerous mistakes than the dictators do, including leaving out substantial amounts of dictation, which transcriptionists have to correct, but only get paid VR rates for. They also complain constantly about some of the QA editors who nitpick everything to death. They also claim blatant cherrypicking, with team leads asking their pet transcriptionists/friends which doctors they want to work on. They are both making less than minimum wage, reviewing their reports numerous times in order to try to figure out which stupid corrections the vile QA folks are going to pick apart. Heard Proscript is constantly terminating and replacing transcriptionists, too. They wonder why people are unwilling to waste time logging in when they (team leads) are having panic attacks over a very few reports available in the pools, and Proscript wants people to stay on line and checking the pools constantly, even when there is no work to do.
