Questrion for InstantText/Fluency user - MT

I am new to Fluency and use Instant Text.  I am not able to use the CTRL +number keys at all.  I believe this is a key setting problem in Instant Text with the CTRL key. I do not want to change any of the functions of Ctrl+Shift, etc, just want the CTRL +number function to work, so I use the quick check for drug list and google, etc.  Does anyone know the setting that needs to be changed in Instant Text to solve the problem?  Instant Text contacted and said ask Fluency.  IT busy with other long list of things going on with new program to us.  Thanks!!
