I do not even get a "thank you" when I am asked to get up an hour or so earlier in the day to complete work because manager has a doctor's appointment or something, or if I go out of my way to do the work of two people because that other person is sick or something. A simple thank you goes a long way sometimes, but no recognition at any Holidays in any form...not even a card... but she gets to take 7 days off for Christmas vacation. sigh. I feel so unappreciated. but... I still have a job, so I guess that is bonus enough.
