I could've written this post. I work for a company with ridiculous rules, pages and pages, 60+. My feedback has no transcription corrections but I'll get error after error about using the "guidelines." My pay and a newbie's pay are the same. Experience means nothing. There's also a lot of time-consuming research involved for which I earn an extra penny with the pay rate and spend copious amounts of time doing. I've been questioning myself if it's worth the nit-picking and time to earn basically nothing, plus the effort and time I put into the job simply trying to learn all the rules. And restructuring a sentence, don't get me started!
