Doctors these days forget that other doctors are NOT the only potential audience for their reports. When they find themselves hauled into court, either by a patient or some governing body, over their documentation issues and it hits them in the BACK POCKET then and only then will they realize the importance of documentation that makes sense. Voice recognition only works efficiently if trained/edited on the recording end. That mean the doctors would have to do it themselves. The one doctor I worked for who wanted to try it spent hundreds on Dragon but never had TIME to learn to use it. These guys probably don't even know there are human's editing for them! They think they are THAT good at dictation.
