Micromanaging/taking breaks/lunch, etc - PAMT Posted: Dec 15th, 2017 - 7:18 am In Reply to: I never clock out during my shift but still take breaks - for fluid input and output...
I have been working at home for 20 years, 18 of them with Medquist/MModal. If I want to take a break and lose money, I should be allowed to. For those, who want to punch out so their line count and PTO rate is higher, they should be allowed to punch out. As long as I am satisfied with my paycheck and also meeting the LPH and 99.65, there should not be a problem with me getting out of this chair for a few minutes. I get so tired of the stupid inactivity time. It drives me crazy. I am always way above LPH and meeting 99.65, but I still get micromanaged about the stupid inactive time. So if we clock out for breaks, etc., we have to make up that time. I for one do NOT and WILL NOT clock out for coffee breaks, bathroom breaks, etc. If others do, that's fine and that's their business, but I hate that MModal tells us that we have to.
