I am actually at a company that on the surface seems to pay okay, but their specs are nit picky, not clear, and QA is inconsistent, so you are never 100% sure of how to do things.
It slows you down, and then they keep coming up with ways to add more senseless rules. They do not follow the book of style. They just decide randomly to change things, and of course, it is always punitive and never in favor of the transcriptionist. If you question it, you are labeled high maintenance and a trouble maker.
I just have to find something else. Hopefully I can get something by early 2018 so I can LEAVE!
