I just went through this a year ago with Synernet selling out to Nuance. It was all the horror stories you have envisioned come to life. In October I left and went to AHD thinking I was making the right choice and 6 weeks in I find out about the same thing going on only this time with M*Modal. I wish I had know because I would have made a different mood. Trying to keep a positive attitude but the last year was a nightmare and I am feeling a bit of deja vu. Love being at home, love not having to travel in this fabulous Maine winter weather and overall satisfied being an MT (everyone has their bad days!) but think it may be time for a career change. Good luck to all you MTs whatever path you decide to take!
