I quit without giving 2 weeks' notice during the first month due to too many episodes of no work during my set schedule, which included 2nd shift on Saturdays. I wasn't allowed to move from the computer during the set schedule despite the lack of work, and my suggested schedule change wasn't approved. After a few weeks of this, I quit to work for a company that did have work with a more flexible schedule. After that, LDMTS never paid for the work I had done during this job that lasted about 3 weeks. So, be careful. Read and believe the contract which, unless they've changed it, explains how they will not pay if you quit unless you do it their way.
