I am scared - MT

In less than 2 weeks my job is here now. And I don't know if I will lose everything. I keep looking for other employee jobs outside of the house and elsewhere but nothing. I have so many years of experience doing MT this is it for me. I don't know what to do. I could go IC for several small companies but not sure if my pay will drop immediately so I am going here. I am very frightened. I do not know what to do. Every day it gets closer I dread. Am I overreacting. Please for people who have gone through this I need some words of kindness and advice. I am not alone in this. You all have been through it or at least many. Please for us going through this especially at the holidays I am asking for some kind words of empathy. Thanks. Happy Holidays.
