Two higher-ups gave me conflicting instructions (one says take PTO vs the other who says check back through the day) and told me I could address it with my supervisor tomorrow (she's off today). Is that like asking for forgiveness instead of permission? Lol. I think I'll take a play from HR's playbook and just not reply to anymore emails about it.
