A lot of work out there now with MTSOs is outsourced from Nuance. You don't know this until the account disappears one day and you're suddenly without a paycheck.
These MTSOs doing the outsourced work equate to employees of Nuance. The purse strings are completely held by Nuance, they have to undergo audits from Nuance, they have to meet very strict TATs from Nuance, so Nuance owns them.
These MTSOs hate being confronted with that too because they know these are not their accounts and know Nuance owns them while they have Nuance accounts.
I agree, this is a very sticky and dangerous situation for all the ICs who are working (and very low paid too) for these MTSOs.
