Anyone know of companies who do not use the morale-busting metrics system that Nuance uses? I gotta get outta here. Been transcribing 23 years. Stellar quality. Paid hansomely. Now can't get above minimum wage. Got me on the worst account I've ever had in all my years. It's a no-blank account. Almost all ESL docs, poor sound quality, volume goes up and down. You know how it is -- Go to fast, you make errors. Slow down, your production is "too low." Send to QA, you don't get the <laughable> bonus. So as you can imagine, damned if I do and damned if I don't.
There has to be companies out there that do not use this awful metric system.
