I was asked what my plan covers regarding hospitalizations. When I asked that same question, I was told "$50 per day for up to 10 days per calendar year."
I had a similar plan several years ago when I was hospitalized for 3 days. I received an itemized bill, and my insurance company covered all but my $100 per day copay (that was my plan then) and it covered everything I received during my hospitalization.
