The instructions for monthly statements for EMDAT that I was given state: "Create your statement in Word using the formatting below. Be sure it fits on one page. Name it Last name, First name and send it to me via E-mail. So that you know I have received your statement, I will always respond. If I have not responded, please reach out to me. Email is not 100% reliable". Those were the EXACT instructions I received and responded accordingly. I wrote "attachment" on my instruction sheet so that I will not send it that way next time. Never once did I say that I was not going to attend the meeting. What I did say is that I have not had any complaints about the quality of my work. Why am I working there? To have a job until I can find something better as I can't survive on Social Security. Hopefully I will be able to find something that has nothing to do with transcription. I have done it for so many years and I used to love it and used to make great money. I absolutely hate voice wreck, but unfortunately that's all you can get any more for 4 cents a line.
