Someone else may be able to make these out because of different headphones, sound system, etc., or software used to play the audio. The responses you get are probably form responses, but at least they're not telling you to go away and never try again, so you must be coming close. Maybe you are just leaving too many blanks. Companies often do give poor audio because they want to see how close people can come. So maybe if you fill a few more blanks, you will be hired. One company I tested with several times used the same test audio every time. On the last try with a different setup I heard words that I did not before. Equipment can make a big difference.
