I've been on it and it always got escalated. There are different stages of warnings or whatever and the final one is termination. I did almost get fired so it definitely wasn't just dropped. And it doesn't even matter if you're doing everything else right, if you aren't passing your audits or making LPH or whatever, you still get put on PM. Then even if you fix it, you stay on for 6 months, which is a crazy long time for PM if you ask me. None of my HDSMs told me when I was off it either. So maybe it depends on who your HDSM is. I think if you mostly turn it around, they don't care if you have a few backslides. They just monitor the trend, but they definitely monitor.
