I quit TTS recently for many reasons with 1 of the main reasons being that Nuance is now doing QA for TTS. My scores were so low that you would think I never worked as an MT before! I've been reading that companies like TTS are going to succumb to Nuance, first by those companies getting Nuance's overflow work then by training AI to replace us. I made $200 for a week's worth of work, was basically told I need to take some MT courses and due to that, after 30 years as an MT....I'm done and I'm out.
