You have a shift as an IC? Who do you work for? No way would I do that. I am an IC for 2 companies and never, ever let them know when I am going to work or not. Oh we got that about working every day no matter what, even a death in the family shouldn't prevent you from working, and all for 4 cpl. Pluuuzzeee, stop me from laughing in your face or ear as the case might be.
How dare they question you like that. How dare the company I work for, feels a death in the family is just is not more important than transcribing some reports! Wow, the gestapo has arrived!
