It's as though our knowledge and training are worth nothing since VR came along. Years ago, transcription companies would be competing over a skilled transcriptionist. Now, they just send them offshore and pay less to have them edited by QA. This really has become a dying career. Unless, of course, if you're in management or the owner of a company.
