IC positions - TAWO

Have all the transcription companies gone to IC status for transcriptionists now? I guess the ObamaCare really did all of us transcriptionists an injustice. I don't see how they can all hire ICs like this and then have expectations, such as second shift, third shift, Tuesday through Saturday and the like. I am truly disappointed to go onto the job boards of several sites just to see IC all the way down the line. It is truly an injustice to all transcriptionists to be viewed as cost prohibitive for an employee position. These companies wouldn't be making money if it wasn't for the transcriptionist.
