Yes, when all else fails call the employees "paranoid." So that they will be content to crawl back into their holes of despair, feeling a little bit soothed that the company has no intentions of betraying their trust in any way.

Really? Was it just paranoia or reality that employees are being laid off in droves, lied to about incentives, etc.?

Get the terms correct!

Paranoia by definition is mistrust without justification. There is plenty of justification for these employees to distrust, so paranoia doesn't even apply.

I just love it when the company cheerleaders attempt to squash the truth on this board. Too bad, they aren't good at that job either.
